i've been frustrated with how sloppy and slow clipping software is, so i've created my own version which i like a lot and only takes like 15 seconds to fully clip, trim and send a clip
and i've seen others take soo long to trim and send a clip, and they use some bs like medal or record their video player or pull up entire video editors, just to trim a clip and its still over 10mb, so they upload to streamable or compress with 8mb.video which is so slow and ineffetive
how this script works:
checks standard directories & registry to make sure obs/mpv aren't installed already before trying winget
configures obs automatically for replay buffer, with the settings you setup on the site
creates an obs startup script inside of shell:startup so OBS starts with your system, with replay buffer enabled, hidden in tray by using these startup flags: --startreplaybuffer --minimize-to-tray
installs mpv if its not there
downloads my plugin and puts it into the mpv scripts folder: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\mpv\scripts
downloads an isolated, modern build of ffmpeg directly into %APPDATA%\mpv so it never conflicts with older or broken system versions
Pipeline setup & modules
uncheck anything you already have configured or want to handle manually
